CPKC Stadium is a beautiful thing. The first soccer specific arena for women’s soccer is appropriately appealing, perched on the riverfront in Kansas City. You’d struggle to find a location more appropriate for something so significant. And then, of course, there are the passionate people who fill the seats. The Kansas City Current sold out every single home game this season, packing the stands with what is unquestionably NWSL’s best atmosphere. Throw in the presence of Patrick Mahomes - the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl-winning QB, and co-owner along with wife Brittany of the Current - and this is one of the best viewing experiences in American soccer. Teal is, in fact, the new black.
